We are excited to announce that Senators Oscar Braynon (D) Anitere Flores (R) and Representative Jose Rodriguez (D) have filled SB 130 and HB 261, Unemployment Compensation for domestic violence survivors. This legislation would allow for the provision of unemployment compensation for victims of domestic violence when the victim reasonably believes that continued employment will jeopardize her/his safety and the safety of a member of his or her family or co-workers. Follow us in the coming months as we fight to get this bill passed.  We are counting on your support!
